Abstract: The law arises as a normative social regulator, which imposes models of order in the relations concerning the distribution and exchange of goods. The law is a coercive order, because its observance is guaranteed by state coercion. In some cases, the law allows the order of protection provided by the state to be combined with self-defense. In these cases, the law enables the subject to take action to protect his property before and outside the order in which the law enforcement authorities act.
