Abstract: In 2022, a draft law was submitted in the National Assembly of Republic of Bulgaria for amendment and addition of the Commerce Act, which plans serious changes in the matter of bankruptcy and stabilization. The purpose of this article is to examine some of the proposed changes - those that refer to the introduction of the term entrepreneur in the Commerce Act and its legal definition. Reasonable conclusions and proposals are made on the basis of the performed analysis.
