Abstract: The economy in Bulgaria and all around the world is related to the services offered from the air transport. In this case the efficiency of the air transport reflects on the social and economic life of the region. The goal of this paper is to find the influence of the air transport on the sustainable development of the region in its socio-economic dimension.
