The Knowledge – A Strategic Factor for Good Governance at Local Level

Abstract:
The subject of the report is the concept of "good governance at local level", considered from an epistemological perspective. The theoretical foundations and the epistemological specifics of good governance are discussed. The Bulgarian practice on the implementation of the concept and the award of a Label for innovation and good governance excellence at local level has been studied. Presented is a point of view of knowledge as a factor for good local governance and conclusions from the study are formulated.
