Abstract: The report examines the status and trends of land use in Bulgaria in the period 2007-2020, focusing on agricultural land, with the aim of improving the use of land areas with agricultural use - at national and regional level. The analysis of the state of land use and land use includes: the functional use of land in the country; the composition and structure of the areas with agricultural use; the composition and structure of the used agricultural area at national and regional level; the occupation of agricultural areas by main agricultural crops. Land use gives rise to specific land relations.
