Abstract: The report proposes a methodological framework for an in-depth analysis of the economic efficiency at beef cattle breeding. Different approaches and methods for evaluation based on performance indicators proposed by other authors are considered. Based on them, new ones have been synthesized and proposed, which are considered to be decisive for the economic efficiency of farms. The indicators are grouped in order to analyze the individual elements of the production technology and the organizational and economic part of the breeding.
