Abstract: Digital transformation is a complex and long process in which technologies are used to optimize the time and costs that are invested in various activities of public life. By using the innovations and advances of information technology, the mediation process can become faster and more transparent, facilitate access to mediation in cross-border disputes and save significant costs and time for the parties in mediation proceedings. However, the process of digital transformation cannot be an end in itself, in order to be effective, digital transformation must ensure the security of information so that each of the parties can be sure that the confidentiality of mediation proceedings is preserved even if it develops. in a digital environment. This raises a number of questions about the application of digitalization and digital transformation, which this report aims to analyze.
