Abstract: In this report the author reviews the applicable legislation governing the institute of mediation in Bulgaria, summarizes the results of the review of the legislation in the EU member states regulating labor mediation. After a comparative and analytical review of the case law in the EU member states, it draws conclusions about the level of awareness of stakeholders about the possibility of using mediation in labor disputes. On this basis, he presents proposals for improvement to improve the promotion of the institute of mediation, and formulates proposals for changes in the legislation-delege ferenda.
