Abstract:
The report examines the role and significance of mediation in extreme situations such as refugee crises, disasters, and emergencies. The main goal is to prevent conflicts, alleviate the suffering of the victims, and support the recovery of affected communities. Various examples of mediation applications in disasters and refugee crises are presented, highlighting the importance of dialogue and understanding in achieving peaceful conflict resolution. Attention is drawn to the importance of mediation in supporting the psychological recovery of victims and improving communication between different stakeholders. The report emphasizes the importance of mediation as an effective tool for resolving conflicts and alleviating suffering in extreme situations, encouraging its integration into strategies for crisis prevention and management.
