Abstract:
For the first time in our procedural legislation with the amendments and additions with SG No. 11 of 2023 of the Civil Procedure Code, the possibility of applying judicial mediation in appeal proceedings was allowed. These amendments and additions are a key moment for the future imposition of mediation in the Republic of Bulgaria and will, in all probability, provoke diverse opinions in relation to the establishment of judicial mediation at this stage of the proceedings. The report aims to analyze the most important moments of regulating judicial mediation in appeal proceedings in civil cases.
