Abstract:
Agri-environmental practices and innovations are key to achieving sustainable development in the agricultural sector. The methodological approach to their study combines economic, social and environmental aspects to ensure balanced development and adaptation to climate change. The goal of the study is to analyse the development of agri-environmental practices and innovations worldwide and in Bulgaria. The study highlights the theoretical and methodological aspects of agroecological practices and innovations, both globally and nationally. The risks of environmental degradation are discussed. A SWOT analysis of agroecological practices and innovations in Bulgaria is made.
