Abstract: In the research paper it is presented the Bulgarian food, beverages and tobacco industry’s market share of domestic production as a measure for the industry’s competitiveness on the world markets for 2021 and 2022. Based on the obtained results and their analysis, it is concluded that during the study period from 2012 to 2022 the competitiveness of the Bulgarian food, beverages and tobacco sectors has declined in 2021 and 2022 compared to the previous studied years. The reported results of decline for 2021 and 2022 in Bulgaria indicate that in comparison among the food, beverages and tobacco market shares the production of tobacco products’ market share is the smallest one. The second largest is the food production’s market share while the largest market share is the production of beverages’ share.
