Abstract:
At the current stage of economic, technological, political and social development on Earth, we are all witnesses of a very rapidly developing and globally changing world. The changes are occurring in the technological, innovative and, above all, digital direction. In direct connection with these facts, the external environment of the agricultural sector is changing greatly, as are the opportunities for its development and functioning. The purpose of this report is to try to establish what the main goals and tasks facing the field of education are for a more successful future of Bulgaria‘s agricultural sector. Therefore, we have set ourselves the task of making a brief retrospective of its development and looking for likely future changes, which will give us reason to indicate the main goals that agricultural education should face in relation to changes in the sector in the future, as well as the tasks with which they can be achieved.
