Mariya Armyanova

Conference of the Department of Agricultural Economics, at the University of Economics - Varna, 2024, issue 1, 89-98

Abstract: The agribusiness is faced with challenges such as environmental protection, market globalization, the natural conditions unpredictability and climate change. A possible solution to overcome these difficulties is the information technology usage. The artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities to analyze and process big data, create forecasts and control various processes help manage daily work, predict the agricultural crops requirements and their markets and reduce possible losses with early intervention, that is to improve the production and produce realization. Despite some restraining factors, AI applications are entering agriculture and it is needed national and international organizations support to ensure that all producers have access to the new opportunities.
