Abstract:
The coronavirus pandemic has challenged the societies and economies and has increased the transformation processes in the world economy such as protectionism, regionalization, and digitalization. However, health, healthcare and societal global risks are crucial for the future existing of the economy and at the same time they are quite sensitive issues for the societies. The present paper reviews the dilemma between health/healthcare and economy/world economy and discusses the impact of the societal global risks on the world economy.
