Abstract: Dynamic changes in market relations and increased competition between companies require the search for new organizational forms that contribute to improving competitiveness. One such form is corporate governance, to which the interest of economists, politicians and businessmen is constantly growing. However, there is still no consensus on the nature of corporate governance, which also gives rise to one of the main problems with its implementation in practice. In this regard, in this report the author tries to clarify the nature of corporate governance and to outline the benefits of itsimplementation.
