Abstract:
Over the last decade, the customer service requirements have dramatically in-creased due to a number of factors, among which the development of the digital econo-my, the shifts in consumer behavior patterns, the increase in services' share of GDP and more. In such environment, business organizations have changed their traditional busi-ness models, have developed new competencies and have diversified their business. On the other hand, higher education institutions (HEIs) have faced a number of challenges related to improving the quality of educational service to respond more quickly and ade-quately to the specific and rapidly changing business needs of skilled professionals. This calls for the need of better co-operation between HEIs and business organizations in the different professional fields of education. The purpose of this paper is to present a system of relevant measures and related indicators for evaluating the outcomes of collaboration between HEIs and business organizations, which can be implemented in the context of logistics and supply chain management education. The system takes into account the points of views of the both above-mentioned stakeholders and provides a tool for meas-uring the effectiveness of the cooperation between them.
