Abstract:
The paper aims at identifying the need to develop, promote and maintain sustainable consumption in line with the UN goals. The research methodology involves analyzing the content of theoretical sources to clarify the conceptof sustainable consumption; content analysis of sustainable development goals and the regulatory environment of Varna Municipality related to the sustainable consumption in order to be given useful guidance for improving the regulatory environment. The study is part of the Sustainable Urban Consumption -Regional Disparities Project funded by the Research Fund under the 2019 Fundamental Research Program under.
