Abstract: The digitization is accelerating in all sectors of modern economy and is completely changing the organization of work and the workplace. New forms of employment are emerging, providing more flexibility for workers and employers, but also leading to serious gaps in the scope of social protection. The persons with non-standard employment are particularly vulnerable in this situation. Therefore, the purpose of this report is to highlight the problems and the need to adapt the social protection systems of these persons. Good examples in the practice of European countries are considered and options for their implementation are sought.
