Abstract: Economic development and the efficiency of trade processes are extremely dependent on the transportation of goods. This determines the main purpose of this report, namely – a brief overview of the characteristics and specifics of transport services in Bulgaria. Emphasis is placed on the main types of transport that are used for freight transport in our country. The Logistics Performance Index (LPI) for our country is visible. The consequences of global problems on transport services in Bulgaria have been analyzed, and conclusions and reviews have been made.
