THE CONSTRUCTION CLUSTER AS A FORM OF COMPETITIVENESS

Abstract: Nowadays, construction companies are forced to operate in a dynamic and quickly changing environment. This puts the stress on effective tools for them to change and to adapt in order to survive. Therefore, the question of the competitiveness of a construction company is relevant and often discussed. This paper examines the construction cluster as a tool for competitiveness. In the material, the main reasons that require the introduction of a cluster approach are considered, the benefits of cluster formation are presented, the construction cluster model is proposed, the basic principles that clusters must meet in order to ensure high competitiveness and efficient functioning, are offered with some possible steps to promote them.
