Abstract:
The purpose of this report is to investigate the impact of different population indicators in a particular region on potential entrepreneurial activity and real entrepreneurial activity, giving priority to rural (non-urban) areas in the country. The survey applies indicators such as entrepreneurial activity rate, depth, and breadth of entrepreneurial activity in the region and others. Conclusions have been made about the impact of population density, the share of the working-age population in the region, unemployment and other processes on the development of entrepreneurship in rural areas in Bulgaria.
