Abstract:
In the corporate world, the topic of sustainability and the environmental management of business organizations is increasingly present in business strategies and programs, leading to a "green" revolution in traditional, well-established business management functions, such as human resources management. The paper focuses on HRM with emphasis on Green. Green HR deals with the HR activities which are environment friendly and promote the sustainable use of resources in the organizations. The objectiveof this review is (1) to explore green human resource management in business organizations and (2) to describe Green HRM practices, based on the contemporary literature. How can Green HRM enhance corporate image and brand?
