HIGHER EDUCATION IN THE AGE OF DIGITAL CHALLENGES: A TOOLKIT FOR E-LEARNING IN A LOCKDOWN

Abstract: In a crisis such as the one in 2020, education is undoubtedly one of the areas affected. Teachers and students face the challenge of communicating virtually and applying different teaching methods to put them beyond their comfort limits. The learning process is conducted in a fully electronic environment, which must be organized so that the materials provided are accessible to all learners. The purpose of our paper is to study the ee-learning technical support used in lockdown conditions at universities in Bulgaria andLatvia, and on this basis we offeredrecommendations for effective e-learning process.
