Abstract:
Scientific and technological progress and globalization have a significant impact on the way in which activities are undertaken and organized nowadays. The contemporary economy is characterized with intensive technology development and formation of a new type of society, based on knowledge, which is transformed into high technology.All these leads to reduction in the time and manner of transmission of information flows. In short, it is a digital revolution in which technology is changing the role of the human factor in economic affairs. The object of study in this report is human capital (HC). The purpose of this report is to draw attention to the critical role of HCin value assessing of people in the digital age. It is tasked to consider the concept of the HC and to formulate a working definition. At the next stage, to consider the place of the HC in recent economic conditions and the role of TNCs in its developmentand upgrading.
