Abstract:
This publication examines the problems and challenges arising when hiring employees under the programmes and measures in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The relevance of the issues at stake is determined by the need to retain jobs, especially in the most severely affected sectors of the economy such as hotel, catering, and transportation industries, etc. The scope of this study includes mainly the measures aimed directlyat supporting employment. Causes for employers and employees' late receipt of these funds have been identified and specific proposals have been given to improve the administration of these measures.
