Abstract: The thesis of this report is that the education system must be transformed, considering global challenges and changes in the educational environment, on the one hand, and on the other - to ensure that students receive the necessary knowledge, skills and competencies for desired career development. The purpose of this report is to draw attention to some inconsistencies that give rise to educational approaches and methods in building the prerequisites for further career development, and on this basis to argue recommendations for the transformation of the educational system with a focus on higher education.
