Abstract: The striving for a free and independent lifestyle has always been strong, especially among young people, but the unprecedented pandemic caused by Covid-19 has changed life, education, culture, sports, travel, social, work stereotypes. As a result of this the interest in a healthier lifestyle away from crowded spaces has increased and contacts have shifted mainly to the virtual environment. As an important part of our lives work is also evolving and people strive to balance more effectively between work and leisure and to limit the stress they are subjected to. Searching this balance a phenomenon of digital nomadism is emerging and is becoming increasingly popular among people. This study focuses on the nature, features and challenges of digital nomadism as an innovative approach to digital and personal freedom.
