Abstract:
The aim of the paper is to outline the challenges to wage management in Bulgarian organizations (focusing on micro, small and medium-sized non-financial enterprises in the private sector) in the crisis caused by the pandemic and restrictive measures to control it, and to formulate opportunities to adequately respond to these challenges. The challenges and opportunities for adequate answers are in terms of planning (budgeting) of remuneration costs, basic salaries, additional remuneration, additional benefits for the person and non-monetary remuneration.
