Abstract:
In the contemporary world we live it is utterly necessary for each organization to be competitive and one of the most successful ways to do so is by implementing information technology and artificial intelligence (AI) in the run of its processes. Furthermore, after the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic human resource departments were caught unprepared for the big changes and had to react immediately by offering its employees a distance way of working from home. They also realized the need to adapt their practices and processes such as recruiting, training and improving employees’ knowledge and skills to the fast-changing environment of the digital era we live and work through the use of AI. Despite the fact that there are some challenges of the use of artificial intelligence in the human resource management, it become clear that there exist much more advantages and positive effects of its implementation in the human resource management.
