Business & Management Compass, 2011, issue 4, 64-78
Abstract:
In the article there are discussed controversial questions with respect to the market of socially responsible investments. Following a study of the trends on the market, there can be drawn the conclusion that there is considerable increase in the assets invested in socially responsible strategies, as in 2010 those reached $ 3.07 trlnin the USA and € 5 trln in Europe. Banks enter this market by offering responsible products (project funding, ethical investment funds, etc.) to their corporate and wea lthy customers, as this type of banking transactions are gradually turning into a full - scale strategy for corporate social responsibility of the banks.
