Abstract: The article deals with the general issues of investment attractiveness of the real estate market of Russia and St. Petersburg in the context of globalization, identifies the problems and prospects of the Russian real estate market as a sphere of investment, identifies the features of the real estate market of St. Petersburg as a major regional market at present.
