Abstract:
The disturbing process of global warming is due to human activity and more specifically to linear production based on non-renewable energy sources. The need to replace the linear model of production and consumption with circular ones is emphasized by a number of scientific studies and is increasingly being realized at the political level. Within today's economic system, there are alternative forms of organization of production and consumption to the linear economy. In this report, servitization is presented as one of the possible alternatives and the contribution of information technologies to its development and application in practice is considered.
