Abstract:
This report is based on the hypothesis that there is a relationship between the life quality and the amount of consumer expenditure. Its verification is carried out in the following sequence: first, based on a literature study, 13 named values characterizing the life quality are substantiated; secondly, by transforming them into unnamed values and linear ordering in the multidimensional space, complex quantitative assessments of the life quality in 27 EU member states during the period 2016-2020 were obtained; thirdly, through the correlation coefficient, it was found that the degree of dependence between the amount of consumer expenditure and the complex quantitative assessment of the quality of life in each of the studied years is high, which confirms the research thesis.
