Abstract:
Тhe paper examines the wage inequality in Bulgaria in the years before and during COVID-19. First, wage inequality is calculated by using the inequality decomposition methodology of Pyatt, Chen and Fei (1980). Then the inter-industry differences in wages, employment and labor productivity are analyzed. In conclusion, some recommendations for reducing wage inequality are given.
