Abstract: Bulgaria as a tourist destination is directly dependent on the European market of tourist services. In the last years of the 20th century, the structure of this market changed rapidly and significantly. The changes are primarily the result of the intensive processes of capital concentration and centralization in the tourism industry of the countries of the European Community. The tourism industry is one of the most profitable, and one of the most flexible, and it is normal for it to be constantly changing. In it there is a constant turnover of huge capitals, and the big tour operators are trying to organize these flows into a single streamlined system so that they can control them more easily.
