Abstract:
The strategic management and competitive strategies have been discussed in variable forums and refer to infrastructural, marketing, financial and organizational issues. The idea has been to analyze and highlight some aspects of focus business strategy. The aim of the paper is to present and analyze the focus strategy in relation to the competitiveness of the companies, especially small and medium enterprises. The case study method is used. The characteristics and possibilities of the implementation of the focus strategy, the advantages it brings to the company, the conditions for its successful implementation, the benefits, and risks, as well as some mistakes that can be made in case of incorrect assessment of the market situation are presented.
