Abstract: The industry characteristic universities are an important component in the field of higher education, which are also the main form for talent cultivation facing the industries and businesses, thereby playing an important role in accelerating the economic and technological development of various countries. Taking the industry characteristic universities as the example, combining the era development tendency, and systematically analyzing and proposing the new thoughts of school-running theory, orientation and talent cultivation of industry universities under the background of education globalization are conducive to giving play to the discipline advantages of industry characteristic universities, accelerating the scientific and technological innovation, and improving the quality of talent cultivation.
