Abstract:
This article discusses how the restructuring linked with broadly defined informatisation program can be used to gain a strategic competitive advantage in business. This problem is illustrated with an example representing the introduction of information technologies in the Municipal Transport Company (Miejskie Przedsiebiorstwo Komunikacyjne), as well as analysis and evaluation of the implementation of human resource management system. The analysis was carried out in the operational and strategic areas.
