Abstract: The Lifelong Guidance is one of the most crucial tool for implementing the strategy of Lifelong Learning and for reaching the 2020 benchmarks of the EC by each of the Member States. Career guidance refers to services and activities intended to assist individuals, of any age and at any point throughout their lives, to make educational, training and occupational choices and to manage their careers. Lifelong guidance should start as an early process that assist children and young people upon active career planning and personal development. The transition to a knowledge-based economy and society commits to develop citizens and economies through lifelong learning where education and training have a fundamental place in the implementing progression of the revised Lisbon strategy for jobs and growth.
