Abstract: The creation of a retention reservoir causes changes in the management of its vicinity. Tourism functions develop, and as a result the tourism infrastructure also develops. In the paper, selected aspects of the tourism management in the vicinity of two retention reservoirs in Poland (Solina and Tresna) are discussed. The author characterizes the accommodation, catering, transport, and supplementary infrastructures. Also, the results of an opinion poll rating these elements of the infrastructure are presented.
