Abstract:
The Apold Depression and especially the locality of Apoldu de Jos are mentioned in historical writings from the earliest times. It was mentioned in official documents as early as 1288 by the king of Hungary, Ladislaus IV the Cuman (1272- 1290). A community of free people, they harnessed their natural resources in such a way that they still have a good reputation. Sustainable management of this area is very important for viticulture and agriculture.
