Abstract: The article analyses the practical application of public-private partnership (PPP) models in the context of rural sustainable development based on the Polish experience. The purpose of the article is to provide a theoretical justification and develop practical recommendations for the implementation of the PPP mechanism in the rural areas of Ukraine through the improvement of waste management tools considering Poland’s experience of sustainable development. The main research methods, focused on the use of comparative, situational and strategic analysis tools, have provided results that may be useful to public managers of the agro-economic sector and private investors. The study demonstrates the strategies and mechanisms that have contributed to successful cooperation between public institutions, private sector entities and all stakeholders to promote sustainable growth.
