Abstract: Current advances in computer networking consider using visible light spectrum to encode and decode digital data. This approach is relatively non expensive. However, designing appropriate MAC or any other upper layer protocol for Visible Light Communication (VLC) requires appropriate hardware. This paper proposes and implements such hardware simulation (physical layer) that is compatible with existing network stack.
