Abstract:
The rapid development of digital technology and its applications in almost all business areas has resulted in the emergence of new terms such as e-supply, e-administration, e-CRM, e-sport, m-commerce etc. This paper describes one of the logistics models in e-commerce based on outsourcing of logistics services, i.e. dropshipping. Presented are logistics processes in e-commerce, various logistic models, applied IT technologies and innovations, as well as principles of functioning and determining marketing methods for this type of trade. The research was conducted on the example of an online store selling toys and children’s articles, which operated on the market based on the dropshipping model. A comparative analysis of the dropshipping warehouse offer was the main part of the research.
