Abstract: Ovaj rad ispituje mogucnost prakticne primene softverskog paketa Transp u menadžementu transportom. On prikazuje rešenje klasicnog transportnog problema koji je sa aspekta operacionih istraživanja definisan na sledeci nacin: Transportni problem je takva vrsta problema za koji je potrebno odrediti broj homogenih jedinica koje treba rasporediti iz više ishodišta na više odredišta s ciljem da se umanje troškovi prevoza odnosno da se poveca ukupan prihod. Istraživanje ima za cilj da pokaže primenljivost aplikacija u preduzecima gde je neophodno voditi racuna o smanjenju troškova transporta
