Abstract: The subject of the publication are contracts concluded by enterprises, regarding the implementation and operation of information systems, which support various functional areas. The implementation and operation of IT systems in enterprises is presented as a mechanism of permanent transactions entered in two contracts: the selection and purchase of an IT system, and the operation and service of the system.
