Abstract: Österreichs Wirtschaft wird 1989 um 3% wachsen, Investitionen und Konsum werden von der Steuerreform begünstigt. Im Jahr 1990 wird das hohe internationale Zinsniveau das Wachstum auf 2½% verlangsamen. 1989 und 1990 wird die Arbeitslosenrate sinken, die Inflation zieht leicht an: 3% im Jahr 1989. Die Leistungsbilanz verschlechtert sich um 3 bis 4 Mrd. S pro Jahr.
