WIFO Monatsberichte (monthly reports), 1989, vol. 62, issue 6, 416-627

Abstract: Das WIFO befragte im Sommer 1988 850 österreichische Industrieunternehmen über den Stand ihrer Direktinvestitionen im Ausland, über Formen, Grad und Motive der Internationalisierung sowie über Pläne und Strategien für künftige Direktinvestitionen und für "Neue Formen der Internationalisierung" wie Joint Ventures und andere Kooperationen. Es zeigt sich, daß Internationalisierung ein langsamer Prozeß ist, der vor allem von den forschungs-, entwicklungs- und innovationsintensiveren Unternehmen vorangetrieben wird.
