Abstract: Der Agrarsektor erzielte 1988 im Österreich-Durchschnitt ein zufriedenstellendes Ergebnis. Für das gute Ergebnis waren vor allem sehr gute Ernten im Pflanzenbau und stagnierende Vorleistungsbezüge verantwortlich. Regional war die Entwicklung der Endproduktion der Land- und Forstwirtschaft stärker als üblich differenziert. Bei einer mittleren Zunahme um 2% streuten die Zuwächse bzw. Abnahmen in den Bundesländern zwischen +7% und –1½%.
